Matt offers a demonstrated record of delivery and achievement within probity, procurement, commercial management, and delivery of projects within the Australian Government.
With a career spanning 15 years, he has conducted procurement and commercial management activities and undertaken a range of projects as a public servant as well as a service provider to government, with a particular emphasis on information technology.
As a public servant, Matt provided ICT services delivery, procurement and contract / commercial management skills to Centrelink, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Department of Finance and Department of Health. Within the private sector, he has held many roles within procurement, commercial management and probity environments, providing services to Department of Home Affairs, Department of the Environment and Energy and Civil Aviation Safety Authority as a consultant. Matt joined Galent in 2018.
Matt brings a proven record of knowledge and practical application of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Whole of Government arrangements (including Coordinated and Cooperative Procurement arrangements). He offers a sound background in government processes and reporting requirements, as well as a sound understanding of benefits tracking and risk management within a project and delivery environment. As an integral part of the procurement activities he has undertaken, he has conducted risk assessments and monitored and reported on benefits realisation and risk mitigation activities.
